My Stealth series plectrums are made from an advanced PEEK composite. As well as containing carbon fiber for rigidity, Stealth picks have self-lubricating properties provided by graphite** and PTFE. With a heavy almost stone-like feel in hand and a lightly textured grip surface, the Stealth series is incredibly comfortable to use. The highly polished beveled edges and material composition ensures effortless playing and provides the ultimate tonal balance – plenty of attack and clarity whilst remaining full and smooth.

**Stealth series can leave graphite dust residue on hands and instrument after a long session – easily removable. Not recommend for bass guitar as their rigidity will accelerate wear with heavy gauges.

The thickness of these picks encourages a more relaxed grip whilst delivering a weightier attack with less effort. Due to the tapered ergonomic design, they feel significantly smaller and less cumbersome than the thickness measurement may imply. With smooth bevelled edges and a precise sharp tip, Winspear Picks give a precise playing experience and glide over the strings effortlessly. Featuring a metal logo inlay for further grip increase.

Dear..... GOD! (Stealth Mini Shiv 3mm)

I pretty much buy at least a couple picks on a weekly basis and will continue to for the very long foreseeable future..... Unfortunately, I have to wait for them to ship all the way over here to the US. Absolutely and positively do not care how long it takes to arrive here to me. The wait is more than worth it because these picks feel and play so incredible. Like, it should be criminal for these picks to be this good.

I just have to admit that I'm obsessed with this company and their picks..... truthfully, addicted is probably the best term actually.

**Oh..... and not just picks, btw. Tried out a set of their strings on my 7-string and they're the crazy good too!**

Stealth 6mm Shuriken is the fastest feeling pick I've ever used

I've known about Winspear picks since they first came out, but hadn't checked out what Tom and company were up to for a while. I saw that there are a lot of options, now, and reading about them I felt the Stealth might be an interesting choice to try out. I'm glad I did - the Shuriken 6mm in the Stealth material is blazing fast on the strings and a very smooth playing pick, one of the smoothest I've ever used thanks to the self-lubricating nature of it.

The self-lubrication aspect does mean that picks made from this material wear more quickly, so keep that in mind - the Shuriken with its three points is a good choice for this, in my opinion. And, yeah, there is a bit of graphite residue on your fingers and the strings after playing with it but it's easy to wipe off.

Try one out if you want to see what a SUPER speedy & slick pick feels like!

Stealth Shiv 4mm tapered

After testing 7 different Winspear picks, this is a sure favourite for tremolo picking. The crisp clarity of each note when picking through multiple strings at once is unmatched, and picking unwound strings sounds smoother and more vibrant than any other pick I’ve tried, much easier to avoid that ‘wobbly’ acoustic-like sound you get when tremolo picking higher notes (with enough gain of course). The only drawback to the sound is a very noticeable high pitched chirping which I don’t get to such an extent with other picks, but the tone and playability is so great that it won’t stop me from using it during recording. The grip and feel is solid, tip is precisely crafted and sharp as a knife, and I had no problem adjusting to it from a thin flat tortex sharp, which now pales in comparison in almost every aspect. Shame I only ordered one!!

Other favourites are the amber standard for chugging and non-tremolo rhythm playing, and the fountainhead for single note picking (for example acoustic arpeggios), which I will leave separate reviews for.

Stealth Series: Mini Shiv 3mm Tapered

Ordered some different Mini shivs and this was my favorite of them. Main reason for that is the texture of the material, it has a good grip.
