My Purity series plectrums are made from Ertalyte, a medium density plastic with good wear resistance. They feel sturdy in hand and, with a slightly textured bevel, provide a precise aggressive attack with a balanced tone. The Purity series is perfect for trying out a new shape with confidence in durability and clear tone.

The thickness of these picks encourages a more relaxed grip whilst delivering a weightier attack with less effort. Due to the tapered ergonomic design, they feel significantly smaller and less cumbersome than the thickness measurement may imply. With smooth bevelled edges and a precise sharp tip, Winspear Picks give a precise playing experience and glide over the strings effortlessly. Featuring a metal logo inlay for further grip increase.

Purity shiv 3mm

This is my ideal pick for bass!!! I have spent 20+ years trying various picks for guitar and bass, and this is my ideal bass pick! It has that proper feeling of a Jazz III XL shape that I have come to love for guitar, but this pick has a taper/material combo that works so well with bass. This is also the first pick I found that works well for me with bass. I would love to order a half dozen and be set for years!

3mm Mini Shiv - Purity

I have a lot of Winspear picks sitting here on my desk.... And quite a good variety of different series, sizes(mostly mini shivs), etc. But I hadn't gotten one of the Purity Series before and I remember passing up on the opportunity to purchase one quite some time back. But I finally got a couple now..... and it was instantly obvious while trying it out that this Series is EASILY gonna be one of my personal favorites. Could even possibly be my favorite of all of them, to be completely honest.

This series has such a natural & comfortable feel to it while holding it. Literally at no point while playing does my mind have to be sorta "mentally aware" of what the pick is doing in my grip.... meaning I'm not having to worry about fighting with the pick or anything, so to speak. I was at first mainly concerned that this pick would be slick just judging by pictures and such. But this pick is going absolutely NO WHERE. And it honestly kinda blew my mind with how surprised I was... Lol. As usual & a Winspear trademark, the tip is mega sharp and feels almost impossible to get hung up on the guitar strings.

I thought nothing could top the Stealth & Bone Series for me.... but this may be the PERFECT pick for me.

The picks I wish I had known about years ago

I purchased the 4mm shiv model and I cannot praise and recommend these picks enough. It feels so effortless to play and the articulation is unmatched. Winspear picks are worth the price and are the real deal. I don’t imagine I can ever go back to using any other brand.

4mm Battleaxe

I gave these picks a try initially based on the selling point of the relaxed grip, after some issues with nerve damage in my hands I have serious problems with cramps due to holding my old pick so tight, no such issue here these picks are super comfortable to hold and don't require nearly as much force but still have excellent grip so the pick stays in place. At first I was hesitant at the thickness of the pick, I have always used Nylon .88 as I play predominantly rythme and usually hate the way thicker picks "twang" the strings, once again that is not the case here, these picks glide across the strings. on my first use I was genuinely shocked at just how smooth they are to use considering the thickness. All in all these are a killer set of picks and I will certainly be adding some more to my collection.

Purity shivs are the way to go

I ordered a surprise pack from Winspear and it was really challenging to pick a winning one. I used to use Petrucci IIIs but I found myself putting too much pressure on the thumb and wanted something with more body for grip but still pointy

3mm Shiv mini does the trick. Easy enough to grab and not massive. The logo provides grip necessary to avoid slippage due to my hands.

I cannot recommend these enough. Give em a try

Bonus: the winspear team rocks
