Amber Series

I bought the Shuriken version of this pick as it was the last one in stock. While usually I would go for the Shiv or Jazz III kind've shape I knew I wanted a new Winspear of some sort, so I bit the bullet.

I'm so glad I did and this pick, the shape for my bigger hands has actually forced me to be more aware of my tactile feeling and how I'm gripping the pick. the extra point wings that I would usually not have as extra grip due to being rounded allows me to have a much more mind to pick connection and control over what I'm trying to achieve. I will definitely be buying more Shurikens of different series as and when they're back in stock!

This plectrum feels amazing. So incredibly solid. The texture is very comfortable. The durability is impressive.

I mainly play legato, so I don’t think I’m even benefitting from the full extent of this plectrum, as when I do alternate pick it feels immediate and clear.

Satisfied once again. Great company.

This pick is excellent. Currently my favorite for acoustic. The sharp tip creates a very rich and articulate tone. Less pick noise than other picks. Strings sound crisp longer than with other picks.

I had previously owned an Icegrip Shiv and Mini Shiv and had them for years until I had a bag stolen from me. Kinda stopped playing guitar as frequently so didn't bother replacing them. That was about 3 years ago. Fast forward to know and I've been playing a lot more and needed something better than flat and basic Dunlop jazz IIIs. Unfortunately Icegrips seem to be sold out, but this has been serving me well. My grip is more relaxed and I feel like I play a lot better all around with it compared to my normal ones. I will say there's a bit of a chirp compared to the Icegrip, but it's bearable unlike the Hufschmid mini anvils I used to have (in his defense, those are acrylic and they're huge, so being chirpy is a given).
