My Amber series* plectrums are made from Ultem, a plastic of moderate density with great wear characteristics. With a bright tone and full attack, the Amber series provide a great increase to clarity. When warm from playing, they become noticeably grippier.

*Amber series currently vary in hue as shown in the product photos. 6-8mm picks are typically a darker orange, 5mm grey in colour, 3-4mm yellow/cream. This may vary with batches.

The thickness of these picks encourages a more relaxed grip whilst delivering a weightier attack with less effort. Due to the tapered ergonomic design, they feel significantly smaller and less cumbersome than the thickness measurement may imply. With smooth bevelled edges and a precise sharp tip, Winspear Picks give a precise playing experience and glide over the strings effortlessly.

Simply the best sounding picks

I mainly care about having a defined, yet not screechy attack and have tried dozens of different picks without finding "the one".
The Amber Series is perfect when I'm looking for a well defined attack that doesn't ring in the super high frequency. I use this pick as my allround pick, mostly playing Metal and Jazz. The tapering and sharp edge also reminds me to use correct picking technique constantly, which is a great plus, too. They hold up reasonably well, too, although they are not forever. You can likely get at least a few months of use out of them, even with a lot heavy rhythm playing.

Unreal precision. Improved my awareness.

I bought the Shuriken version of this pick as it was the last one in stock. While usually I would go for the Shiv or Jazz III kind've shape I knew I wanted a new Winspear of some sort, so I bit the bullet.

I'm so glad I did and this pick, the shape for my bigger hands has actually forced me to be more aware of my tactile feeling and how I'm gripping the pick. the extra point wings that I would usually not have as extra grip due to being rounded allows me to have a much more mind to pick connection and control over what I'm trying to achieve. I will definitely be buying more Shurikens of different series as and when they're back in stock!

Incredible

This plectrum feels amazing. So incredibly solid. The texture is very comfortable. The durability is impressive.

I mainly play legato, so I don’t think I’m even benefitting from the full extent of this plectrum, as when I do alternate pick it feels immediate and clear.

Satisfied once again. Great company.

Broadsword 1.5

This pick is excellent. Currently my favorite for acoustic. The sharp tip creates a very rich and articulate tone. Less pick noise than other picks. Strings sound crisp longer than with other picks.
